With Joie spilling the Facebook beans about 2010 activity, you know it
just gets me thinking. Before the thinking gets serious, let's see how
many folks are interested in saddling up the horse. Speak now...

Please & thanks

Are you kidding me? You need to ask?

Wanna hear my FanFest V fantasy?
The G version. ;)

Would love for us to meet somewhere that a high percentage of dada peeps can access. But here is my twist, you know how over the years we've had dada camps at hotels, peep's houses and the likes? Would love to see us all converge and really have a dada camp. Complete with tents, campfires and roasted marshmellows.

That would be this dada girl's dream.

ps. Would love to be a co-creator for whatever event manifests. :)
The tour ends here. :)

Oh my! Now that master X has chimed I see a dada storm of mischief coming like no other. I happen to know a guy who has this piece of property between Richmond and Charlottsville(closer to C'ville) that would be perfect. We'ed have access to sound equipment, camping facilities, wonderful river floats. Pretty much everything and get this, he happens to be a rabid dada fan as well. I won't mention any names at this time but I'm just sayin.....

So is this where the constantly asked about nudity comes in?

Does the "G" in Kristen's post stand for "Gurley" or as in "G-rated?"

Would there be mud involved?

I love river floats particularly that River of Love.

My only problem is that I hate camping! It's the whole peeing in the woods thing. ...maybe I could rent an RV.

Because, I know that Paul and I would not be the only ones going--the "kids" would probably want to go too.

And are we talking dada? J? MG?

Paint me a picture!

I can only imagine the possibilities that a Fanfest V and /or a Camp dada would inspire! Can't wait to see what develops.....

I'm not nearly as enthused about camping as I was in my teens. My idea of roughing it now is a hotel without 24 hour room service. But I will do whatever it takes to see dada, and seeing y'all fellow freaks once more would be quite acceptable...
So, if you'll pardon the language, the short version is:

GM - we'll make sure there's a 4-star near the campground!!

Moving - sloooowly - forward...the question of the day is:
excluding your own personal expenses, how much would you be
willing to pay to attend Fanfest V?
(yes I know, historically there has been no charge associated
with our fests, but there are no present tour plans, so kindly read between the lines.)

hmmm maybe we could hire BFJ/ XLC/ The Nightcaps to play as well. Not to mention Bob Sima.. we could have a mini-woodstock.. and Bobs place could be pretty cool except for the lack of cell service..

lack of cel service is why i bought it. I was just mentioning how awesome it would be to have an upclose fan fest. Gurley around a camp fire. Much better than me drunken , slobbering, slurring my way thru HTGT. The CTR is available if we want to get serious. It would be pricey for sure but with a little planning very doable(as long as MG is agreeable ). The real question is who can "pony up" ,"pay the vig",and "pay the piper". OK it's out there, now who's in?

Slow down ROck and ROll mama

No mud.

We have a house there too so there would be access to bathroom and what not. You would keep your own food and junk in your tent or whatever. you get the idea. Look at my pics on FB. The boys would absolutely be welcome. You do have a short walk up hill if you feel the urge in the middle of the night but it's a nice walk.

I don't believe any of our pocket books could bear all 3 members so single may be necessary.

I think we are all at the point( at least for me) that we all are starting to look forward to being together regardless of the band. I'm up for dada fan camping trip with or with out (yes of course preferably with )any member.

Holy pooper super duperous. Props to AFOD for correctly the naming the man blown to bits. Why yes my friend that is the MIMITW. Part of the annual fall festival. Usually it's redneck pumpkin carving(shotguns mandatory for carving) but with the pumpkin shortage and all we add to improvise.
Yes have room for travel trailer. You wouldn't be where the action is but you would have privacy.

affording The Three might be out of our reach, and Camp dada

OK the next logical step is roll call. Who willing to pony up the loot for camp dada. no MG or JC is free. my guees if there is 20 of us it would be 100$ ahead. Pricey but figure it as a once in a lifetime deal. I mean we talking MG or JC around a campfire backed up a million frogs, cricketts, whiperwhills, and every other conceivable critters at CTR. I'm in. I ain't getting any younger and Saint Peter don't give do overs. "life should not be journey made cautiously. Wow...

* $100 is do-able as an entry / hire the band fee. But, then there are travel expenses from the left coast. Maybe this can't be public info at this time, but where are we talking about?

* Not a huge camping fan myself, but the indoor toilets improve my outlook.

* Any tour is a great tour, so I am in if I can get there on a budget. Like Arlo, still without day job...

* Does the "G" in Kristen's post stand for "Gurley" or as in "G-rated?" Well? =)

Sounds interesting... could be doable, depending on the "where", "when", and costs. Actual camping wouldn't be my ideal choice... but whatever it is, it is, I guess.

Wow...

* $100 is do-able as an entry / hire the band fee. But, then there are travel expenses from the left coast. Maybe this can't be public info at this time, but where are we talking about?

Just to clarify no entry fee, no camping fee, just a gurley or joie fee. I am freely opening my camp to all lovers of dada.

Something else I failed to mention. If this moves forward contact me before going out a buying stuff like tents and what not. If you are not a regular camper I have a few tents that all could use. If my bonus this year is really kick ass there might be as bunkhouse for all to stay in. We'll see as time gets closer. And JC if you abide by all the insurance company mandated speed limits you're looking at 9 hours to the Circle T ranch.

What is the closest airport and hotel to the Circle T Ranch?

I would probably end up sleeping in a van down by the river.

And with talking about pitching tents, I think the "G" rating is out the window! :D

Is this an MG event? JC event? dada? Or is it just the fans? Just wondering...

I know Pyro wants to go, and he'll go whether I do or not--(right dear?)

I'm still a newbie to all of this so you gots to 'splain! I've done as much homework on fanfest as I can!

Loved listening to the radio interview -- there were 3 part harmonies on there-- that was pretty cool too!
